Pantanal - Summer Vacation
Traveling with friends can be real good...or awful. This trip to the Pantanal of Brazil with five photo friends was one of the BEST.
We spent two weeks together traveling along dusty, gravel roads...crossing broken wooden bridges...eating and laughing and photographing all the way.
We had a most successful trip thanks in large part to our exceptional guide, Paulo Boute. Paulo is a native of Brazil and has been guiding for over 30 years. And he has a vast knowledge of the Pantanal, as well as a keen sense of humor. However, after two weeks the jokes (his and ours) were getting a little lame.
