Song Birds of Spring
Warblers and songbirds abound in the gorgeous 65,000 acre Allegheny National Forest. A few of the photos in this gallery were taken in Summit County, Ohio on the same trip.
I participated in a Warbler Workshop led by Matthew Studebaker. Matthew knows exactly which parts of the forest to shoot from and when, how to take advantage of the birds' daily patterns (the fox just showed up) and work with the light. Matthew also provides natural props to enhance compositions.
